However, we will be a creating a waiting list, just make sure you get your name down early and if anyone drops out, you’ll have a better chance of joining us.

Great news, this years Pershore Plum Plodders 10k is now open for entries on Entry Central via;
This years event is on Sunday 25th August 2019 and starts at 10.00am
The chip timed course, is a multi-terrain 10k route, starting at the Pershore Leisure Centre, heading out along Pershore High Street, over the river, into the countryside and fields surrounding Wick, returning back into Pershore town finishing in the Abbey Park with the backdrop of the impressive Pershore Abbey.
Start venue – Pershore Leisure Centre, King Georges Way, Pershore, Worcs WR10 1QU (Race number and chip collection at the start venue)
Finish Venue – Abbey Park (WR10 1JP) approximately 500m from the start.
Race Entry and Cost
Entry is online only through Entry Central. Entry will close at midnight on Thursday 22nd August or as soon as the maximum number of runners is reached (limited to 400 runners and allocated on a first come first served basis). If the race limit is reached, a waiting list will be created. Once you are on the waiting list, there is no guarantee that a place will be available. There will also be no entries on the day.
Open for entries on the 1st May 2019 will then be:
£17.80 including booking fee (Non-affiliated) or £15.80 including the booking fee (UKA affiliated)
All runners must be 18 years or older on the day of the race.
There are no on the day entries.
At the Start Venue
Toilets and showers are available at Pershore Leisure Centre. We kindly ask that you respect other members when using these facilities.
Parking is available at the Pershore Leisure Centre / ASDA car park, (charges do not apply for Sundays). The postcode is WR10 1QU. Other carparks are locally available in the town; the closest to the finish is the Abbey Park Car Park, Abbey Road, Pershore WR10 1JP, where there is limited parking.
Race HQ and Registration
This will be at The Pershore Leisure Centre, where race number and chip timing collection will be from 8:30am. Please allow sufficient time to collect your chip and number. There will be a race briefing prior to the race.
Race Start and Finish
The race start will start at 10am prompt in St George’s Way outside the Pershore Leisure Centre, King Georges Way, Pershore, Worcs WR10 1QU
The finish is in the Abbey Park (WR10 1JP) approximately 500m from the start.
The presentation of the prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners will be presented at 11:30am at the finish area. There will also be prizes for the 1st male and 1st female in each age category.
Each finishing runner will be presented with a medal, 2019 bespoke technical finishers t-shirt, plum (yes really!) and a goodie bag. Sponsors so far include; Senior Architectural Systems Ltd (main sponsor), Knowledge Gaps and also High House Wealth Management. The bags have also been donated by Rivers Leisure Centre.
Following deduction of costs, a proportion of the entry fee is donated to local Pershore charities nominated by the Race Committee. Any monies remaining will be retained by the club to help support future events or develop running further.
There is a water station provided en-route which you pass at around 2.5k, again at 7.2k and also at the finish.
First aid will be available at the end and out on the course where needed.
