Thanks to Julie Herbert for organising and sorting the tickets for this event and what a day it turned out to be! The weather was fantastic and oh, it also happened to be my birthday!! Although I seemed to pick the worst horse in every race, others faired better on their bets! There was a great turn out of Plums, most of which gathered together in the picnic area, complete with picnics and bubbly!
Definitly an event for next year, so I will keep you posted on the date (once its announced) and make sure as many Plums as possible can join us!!
We usually hold our annual presentation evening on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year, but unfortunately Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, so things have had to change.
With this in mind, the committee have decided that this years celebrations will take place on Tuesday 27th December at 6:00pm (seated for 6:30pm) and following last years success will be at the Plough and Harrow in Drakes Broughton once again. One good thing is that being mid-week the cost is less than last year!
Partners are again welcome! However, places are limited to 58, so first come, first served (excuse the pun).
This year we are asking that you pay directly into the PPP account (details available on the website). Please put the reference Xmas and your name.
The cost will be £9.00 per person for the carvery meal and if you wish to have a dessert you can pay separately on the night.

To promote the Pershore Plum Festival there is an evening race event at Worcester Racecourse on the 26th July! Seven races in total with the first race starting at 17:40 and the last race at 20:40.
It would be a good opportunity to get together for something other than running! Hopefully the weather will shine for us too!
