Plum 10K News, April 2017

Entries are coming in quickly for the 2017 Pershore Plum 10K and the race is already over a third full. We’ve increased the number of places this year to 350 but it is likely to sell out before race day especially with the increased publicity.
The early bird will end on the 31st May get in early to ensure you get a place and save some money.
It’s a multi-terrain 10k  fairly flat course so potential for a PB. Enjoy the Pershore countryside; over the river,  fields surrounding Wick, finishing in the Abbey Park with the backdrop of the impressive Pershore Abbey. There will be lots of fun on the day with big crowds to cheer you on, you will feel the community spirit from within our club and the crowd all the way.
This year’s race will be on 27th August 2017. You can enter online or visit our website
Each finishing runner will be presented with a medal, a real Pershore plum, yes really! Awards for top males and females as well as age category prizes
Finally enjoy a free hot dog kindly provided by the race sponsor Abbey Butchers.
